Hello!

Hope this finds everyone doing well and excited that it is Fall again! Arizonans traditionally love Fall, just for the chance to wear long pants. 😉

I have a quick question- do any of you work with pharmacies that are not located near you? Pharmacies that specialize in our type of community? Pharmacies that are able to operate at a higher volume, accuracy etc than a typical CVS and do things like manage drug interactions, etc?

We are investigating options, and don't know if anyone else relies on a major company that we can compare to those we are already investigating.

THANK YOU!

HI Jen,

From someone who wears long pants most of the year because I live in the PNW…We work with a large pharmacy that supports long term care communities. There is one of them in Phoenix that might work with you. It’s called Consonus. They do quarterly review based on guidance by us including drug interactions, residents who have been on prescriptions for too long, cart audits, training with our team on various medication pieces, etc.

I would recommend them as I have had experience from both a customer standpoint and a facility standpoint and appreciated them in both scenarios.

If you would like more information or have other questions let me know.

Thank you,

Heather

Good Morning!
Wishing all of you a happy start to your fall. But, I’m also responding from Florida and we won’t see fall until December, lol.

No, we don’t have any relationships’ with pharmacies. When it comes to the medication’s, we support in terms of education, prompts and reminders but for the most part we remain hands off in the process of administering and obtaining.

Have a great day,
Michele Ramsay, Ed.D
