Job Title: Platform Specialist SharePoint Architect

Job Summary
The Manager, Technology provides technical leadership throughout the
lifecycle of a project, with specific focus on Microsoft SharePoint
2007. . This role is responsible for guiding the design, user
interface, and technology integration of projects and interfacing with
client technology and management teams.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Actively work with the account team to establish strategy for the
account.
• Implement SharePoint architecture, visualization and development
processes.
• Coordinate globally dispersed development, QA, deployment and reuse
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide
trends.
• Utilize deep understanding of SharePoint solutions to make
appropriate decisions.
• Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design
• Establish high, mid and micro level plans, and estimates for project
teams.
• Identify and manage risk on project.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in enterprise architecture, systems
integration, package implementation, and /or interactive design and
architecture experience.
• Experience providing a vision to the total solution, managing a
track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a
common vision
• Frequent travel is required.

Business Skills and Experience
• Proven leadership and managerial skills to independently manage
teams, during multiple phases of the project lifecycle.
• Strong skills to effectively interface with client executives and
multi-task Sapient teams.
• Demonstrated consulting skills, including client relationships and
team facilitation
• Well-developed organizational and interpersonal communications
skills
• General understanding of the business environment, models and
motivations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting
facilitation, presentation and documentation.
• Good business analysis/redesign skills with architecture and
implementation experience
• Requirements analysis, conceptual, logical and detailed design
skills.
• Configuration planning, testing, change management and support
experience
• Project management with complex projects and the ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred.

Technical Skills and Experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
• Strong understanding of SharePoint portals and content management
solutions.
• 7+ years with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio and related
technologies
• 7+ years XML and SQL experience
• 7+ years experience with web design
• 5+ years web/user interface development tools including Microsoft
SharePoint Designer.
• 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server
• 3+ years Oracle (preferred)
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications such as MCTS, MCPD etc
(preferred)
• Excellent understanding of the SharePoint 2007 object model and its
application
• SharePoint solution package development experience
• SharePoint site template and feature creation.
• Design and implementation of custom web parts and workflows
• Experience with popular third-party controls such as Dundas,
Telerik, Bamboo etc.
• Experience with K2, Nintex and other third-party workflow add-ons
(preferred)
• Knowledge of Windows Workflow Foundation and Windows Communication
Foundation
• Familiarity with SharePoint Business Intelligence and Excel
Services
• Performance Point Server experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript and other web solution
enhancements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook and Visio.
• Experience in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise
level applications
