sharepoint search problem

Hello,
I have a VMWare Server running over ESX.I installed sharepoint over
it , created a document library in the default site , uploaded a
document , and tried to search the document by it's name.No Sucess.
Need all the help i can get.

Did you configure search server and index server?
Did you re run the job for crawling data source incremental after add
the document?
If you did both above, then you need to wait until the crawl
completes.
Please let me know, if you need any help.

Hi You have to configure search in Central Admin..Check  it once whether it is configured or not !!
