Restricting calendars in SharePoint

Hello all...

I have what seems like a simple question, but I'm not finding a way to
do what I need. Our SharePoint site has multiple calendars throughout.
Inevitably, I go to a page and find items on the calendar that
happened 3 or 4 months ago. Is there a way (either OOTB or using
Designer) to filter the calendars so that only current items show up
on the page??

This would seem like a simple thing to do, but I haven't figured out
how. We are using MOSS 2007 and I do have administrator privileges if
that matters.

Would be grateful for some assistance.

Modify Shared Web Part ->> Edit Current Item link ---> and create a
filter
