Hi everyone,

I'm very excited to announce that ShareMeNot is being integrated into the Electronic Frontier Foundation's new anti-tracking tool, Privacy Badger: https://www.eff.org/privacybadger. Once this integration is complete, we will likely stop maintaining ShareMeNot as a standalone tool.

Privacy Badger for Chrome already includes ShareMeNot, so I would recommend that users of the Chrome version of ShareMeNot transition to using Privacy Badger: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/privacy-badger/pkehgijcmpdhfbdbbnkijodmdjhbjlgp.

The Firefox version will transition over the next several weeks as well. I'll post an update at that time.

Thanks everyone for your continued interest in and support of ShareMeNot!

Franzi

Hi everyone,

We have now also integrated ShareMeNot's functionality into the Firefox version of the EFF's Privacy Badger.

Now that this transition is complete, we will stop maintaining ShareMeNot as a standalone tool. We recommend using the Electronic Frontier Foundation's Privacy Badger (for Chrome and Firefox) instead: https://www.eff.org/privacybadger.

Thanks again for your continued support of ShareMeNot!
