First of all, apologies if this email is unwelcome. This is the only email like
this you will receive from us.

We have received feedback recently that some previous linux.conf.au speakers
aren’t being informed when the Call for Proposals opens each year. I
am sending
this to you directly because I want to make sure that you have a chance to
submit a proposal for linux.conf.au 2013 in Canberra.  Speakers are our
favourite people in the world!

linux.conf.au is in Canberra in 2013, at the Australian National University,
and is running from 28 January to 2 February. The Call for Presentations opened
on 1 June, and all the information is available at http://linux.conf.au/cfp .
We would love to see a proposal from you again this year.

If you are interested in being informed of Calls for Proposals for future Linux
Australia events, please subscribe to the announcement list at
http://lists.linux.org.au/listinfo/lca-announce. This list's membership will
persist from year to year.
