"The Old Reader". A little slower than gReader (a server stack on the back end surely not as well funded as google's), but with all the functionality of gReader prior to their social-feature ditching last year.

TC reports both Digg and Feedly are working on Reader clones, complete with API to enable syncing and third party apps.

Prismatic is very image-heavy, and makes you click through to read anything, which I find super frustrating. I know you want it to be a replacement, but it doesn't have an efficient reading flow.
