Notify when someone start following you

I've been thinking of a small feature I could add to Google Reader
Share: get notified when someone adds you to reader.
As the plugin is still using only google IDs and associated email, if
A adds B through the email field of the plugin, and that B is also
using the plugin, we could actually send a mail to A to say B is now
following him. yay, follower!

But I'm unsure, that's why I open the discussion here.
What the plugin is able to do, is only to notify B that A used the
plugin to "follow" him. If later on B unsubscribe from A's feed, the
plugin know just nothing about that. Because in order to do so, the
reader app should (in our vision) notify sharebro.org that B
unsubscribed, so sharebro.org could notify A (or update followers list
at least).

So, it could help a little still it's not very accurate to say "B is
now following you".

What should we do for the moment ?
1. don't notify yet
2. notify but use a different message and a short explanation.
