What's the best way to get Shareabouts up and running?

I run a large bike share in Minneapolis/St. Paul  (Nice Ride Minnesota). We have a need for a way to manage all the requests we get for new bike share stations and Shareabouts looks like just the ticket. I'm pressed on time and probably don't have all the skills needed to set it up.

From what I've read here people seem to think dotcloud is the best option for hosting.  I've also heard that Openplans has offered to host the API in some cases but when I've inquired about it I never got a response.  Can anyone give me any advice before I try to stumble through the setup?

DotCloud is the best-documented path to getting a client set up -- https://github.com/openplans/shareabouts/blob/master/doc/DEPLOY.md

We have been looking at Heroku too, since DotCloud has been flakey recently.

Mitch, I'll follow up off-list about API hosting -- we're offering beta access on a limited basis, so we might be able to help.
