Data view Question

to SharePoint Designer 2007 Discussions
I created a data view. I select the Data Preview option to be 10
items. SharePoint Designer keeps reverting back to the default (which
is all of the items). Is there any way to save this option as 10
items?
Having to view all the data items really causes my system to slow
down. I have to wait a long time for the system to catch up.
