Besides the subject of group mails, which has been covered in a separate mail, the following points were discussed

Programmes

Despite meticulous planning by Dorairaj, Sampath and the President, the proposed visit to Madam Arifa's farm at Injambakkam did not take place due to inclement weather. The programme has been shifted to early 2010

For December 2009, a get together has been proposed.
Actions are being initiated to arrive at a plan. The tentative dates in order of preference are:

Saturday December 12
Sunday, December 13
Saturday, December 19
Sunday December 20

The probability of the latter two dates is very remote.The exact date and timing of the programme
will be communicated to all during the course of the coming week
Members are requested to note the dates above and make it convenient to participate
There will be music, entertaining games and food.
All this is at no cost to the member.

More details will follow

Further to the mail below, the date for the get together and dinnerfor SHARANites is frozen at December 12, 2009
Those who have that evening free should reserve it for this programme
Those who have planned something else have enough time to find ways and means to alter their programme
in favor of the SHARAN evening on Dec 12

The venue will be the Youth Hostel in Indira Nagar
Time 5.30pm
The programme, including dinner, is expected to last about three hours.

This programme will provide a forum for showcasing inherent talent among SHARANites
So all those wish to present any item are most welcome to inform Sampath / Dorairaj / Venkataraman
