JINXED -  BUT NOT GIVING UP

The last time that we had planned the get together, the weather gods cried NO. That was some time in November 2009
This time we had fixed the date as Dec 12, but there is information today ( which was not available then at the time of booking the venue)
that there is an inauguration of the annual programme by Hamsadhwani on the same day at the Youth Hostel

WE ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE UP. WE WILL MEET. SHARANites have been away from each other for too long

SO INSTEAD OF DINNER WE SHALL HAVE A POTLUCK LUNCH THE SAME DAY
INSTEAD OF MEETING AT 5.30 PM WE SHALL MEET AT 10.30 AM AND WIND UP BY 1.30
COME ONE COME ALL. THE PROGRAMME IS ON. PLEASE ALSO INFORM THOSE WHOSE NAMES DO NOT FEATURE IN THE LIST

Dear All

"Twelfth night - or what you will" is one of  Shakespeare's classics

For us all, the evening of Dec 12 is an evening to get together as has been announced earlier
The Venue Youth Hostel, Indira Nagar
Time 5.30 pm, sharp, to 8.30 pm

The programme:

1. A formal meeting for about 15 to 20 minutes
2. Participative Entertainment for about an hour
3. Dinner thereafter

As mentioned earlier, there will be no charges
The dinner will be potluck and items have been selected taking into consideration
the evening meal of the elderly young.

The number of persons will be known on receiving confirmation from members
PLEASE SEND IN YOUR CONFIRMATIONS  BY DEC 6.
(SOME ALREADY HAVE.)
THIS WILL ENABLE THE ORGANIZERS TO DO A GOOD JOB AND
AT THE SAME TIME AVOID  WASTAGE

We need volunteers for the following

a. One food item each. Kindly contact any one of  TV Seshadhri ( 9840157054), N Sampath (9840251733)
b. Entertainment, by way of any artistic talent or game etc
c. There will be a game of Tombola with attractive prizes

We wish to wind up the evening by 8.30 pm

The other option would perhaps have been the same earlier seaside venue @ Injambakkam, subject of course
