2- Endswitch on Y axle is not working
3- What settings (jumpers) to be used on all axles

Firmware is clear now Jorez sprinter,
Endswitch has been solved by definition of right number in pins.h
Setting for A4988 drives , all three jumpers to be placed, OK

I work with Repsnapper, I like the software , but still questions,
questions.

Temperature of the hot-end of the extruder is not within the dispklay
With command M105 in the midi line it gives the temperature, however
direct in the screen is more convieniant.

Every STL object which I print will be 50% of the original values?
Wow comes??

The extruder unit it self, disaster!
Poor workmanship, tooth wheels are dancing in the unit, sometimes
making contact, sometime also not, horrible

I tried to print with PLA, there is a problem on the bottempiece of
the hotend.
As long as you have feed on the fillemant it will do, but when you
stop a few seconds,
the fillament in the upper-heatertube will soften and expand, Now when
you feed again
the heater tube is jammed by the expanded fillament en you have no
output anymore.
The fillament is damaged by the hobbet bold and the process is
stopped.
With ABS however I get better results, I think it need higher
temperature and terfore
it has no time to expand in the extruder tube like PLA.

I already distroyed the hot-end and was able to repair it with some
spare materials
I already purchased.

Another qestion about the stepper drivers
What is a good procedure to control the current.
I have "lost steps"on the X axle.

Looking forward solutions of you experts

Hallo cees
Ik zal vanavond even kijken dat ik je even een paar screenshots van de software stuur hoe je de temperatuur van het heatbed instelt,
Dit gaat erg gemakkelijk. Dit is de vraag die op dit moment nog actueel was.

The question regarding the 50% printing size has been solved.
Just changed in the Configuration file the microsteps from 8 to 16.
I just wonder WHY?? why is the supplier not given better
information???
In this way everybody needs to invent the wheel again.....

I have removed the Cube extruder drive and replaced it by a Wade unit
This works much better.

Still open questions:

Why no temperature display on the screen in Repsnapper?
How adjust the correct current for the stepper drives?

regards
Cees

Hi,

I apologize for the problems, everything got a bit crazy due to our
office move. The 2.1 manual is currently missing the electronics
chapter, witch will be completed this week.

If you are using the windows binary, this one is outdated. From now on
we recommend using pronterface.py from Printrun
https://github.com/kliment/Printrun

Simply click on "Monitor Printer" there to see the temperatures.

Get a small screw driver that fits the trimpot on the stepper
drivers.
Turning them clockwise = increase current
Turning them anti-clockwise = decrease current

If you hear clicking sound, the stepper chip is overheating. That
means you have to decrease the current. If it doesn't do any clicking
sound, carefully turn the trimpot clockwise until it does.
Slowly turn the trimpot counter-clockwise now until it stops clicking.
Then turn it a little bit more, like 1/12th of the trimpot.

That should give a setting that gives the steppers enough torque and
will not overheat.
