Hi!

I have installed MapWindow GIS, Shape2Earth, and Google Earth. After
loading a shapefile into MapWindow, I attempt to save it as a KML
through the Shape2Earth menu. A file is created but it only contains
the standard KML header and is a size of 47 bytes. Any suggestions?

This was happening on older version of Shape2Earth that did not take multipoint shapes into account. Is your Shape2Earth installation recent?

If not, you can download the latest version from http://www.mapwindow.org/download.php?show_details=29

You will want to uninstall your previous Shape2Earth before installing the new one.

Are you using MapWindow 4.4? If this does not fix the problem, I would be interested in seeing the Shapefile that is causing you problems.
