Hi everyone, I just wanted to share something with you and that is my
painting for today. Its a simple wave, the reason I'm showing you
this... is the fact that these simple paintings are fast and easy and
can be used as a daily painting subject just to get you started.
You don't have to have complicated compositions for a daily painting.
Of course they are great subjects to use as a warm up to get you
motivated to paint something bigger and more complicated.

Hi Shanti, I wanted to thank you for your enthusiasm and
encouragement. I looked at your wave -- WOWEEEE!!! it is very cool,
not to mention loose, loose, loose. I hadn't painted in days until
today when I tried to paint a mountain scene, postcard size. It's
coming along and I am enjoying the process, although I can see all my
mistakes and now want to try again a bit larger. These small
paintings are not easy for me to do -- my eyesight is lousy and I have
to use my reading glasses in order to see what I'm doing! When I
finish it, I'll take a photo and post it.
Louise
