SUPA 2016 Elections

Hi all,

The time has come for elections once again. As per the constitution (attached), these are held once a year and facilitated by the treasurer.

We will be electing a SUPA Committee (a President, a VP, a Treasurer), and Four (4) Players Committee members). Nominations start today and will be taken until Dec 1, 11:59pm. Votes will be taken Dec. 2-4.

The 2015 committee is listed here:

President - David Willis

VP - Dax Haas

Treasurer - Geoff Ng

Player's Committee - Amy Smith, Sam Schmoker, Alec Hutson, Seven Xu

You can nominate any member of SUPA (including yourself), and nominations must be accepted by the person being nominated, or else they will be discarded. Current committee members are of course eligible for re-election.

Nominations will be accepted by email only (geof...@gmail.com). Feel free to nominate multiple people/positions.

Please consider carefully who you nominate and vote. Generally speaking, the elected members will organize to fill and support the following roles/duties (either by themselves or by asking for help from the larger community): fall, spring, summer, winter league organizers, A,B,C team captains, Saturday pickup coordinator, Thursday practice coordinator, tourney directors, marketing leader, sponsorship leader, website guru, merchandising.
