Shanghai Hat August 29th

Hey Frisbee friends, 

Shanghai will host a one-day hat tournament on August 29th out at the Shanghai Football and Rugby Club. It's a great chance to shake off the summer rust and get ready for a new season of Ultimate. Also, the goal of hat tournaments is to give new players a chance to play alongside experienced players, so this is a great entry to the sport and a great chance to improve your skills (as well as make new friends). 

Cost will be 150 rmb (100 for students, 50 for SFRC members) and will include lunch and a full day of Ultimate (4-5 games). We'll start around 9 and wrap up at 4 or so. Medals for the winning team and the eternal glory of knowing you were the champion of the first tournament of the Fall 2015 season. 

We have two big beautiful grass fields, but this means we can't have more than six teams, and I'm capping the number of players at 80 so hurry and sign up!

Hi all, 

Saturday's hat tournament is officially full and I'll be doing the drawing tonight for the teams. If you CANNOT attend but you are still signed up at hattournaments.com please let me know so I don't draft you. This is especially true if you are an experienced player, as if you don't show up on Saturday your team will be very negatively affected. Just send me a personal e-mail at alechutsonATgmail.com if you now can't come.  

I will release teams and team colors tomorrow. Schedule will be released soon, but expect something like 9-4, with an afterparty either at the fields or at one of the bars in town - that's to be decided.
