Growing Up Online -- a good PBS documentary

We talked at the congregational meeting today about how the Internet
has produced a huge generation gap. This was part of our conversation
about adding community-serving enhancements to our church website; the
community including active participants at Shalom and folks interested
in getting a feel for who Shalom is and what sorts of things we do.

For the older generation, the following is a very well done
documentary on the experiences of several youth and their parents in
their community that shows what socializing and community in the 21st
century has begun to look like. I would highly recommend watching it
if the topic interests you at all:
