International Day of Peace

Dear Friends of the Shalom Center for Justice and Peace,

On the twenty-first day of September each year, millions of people
around the globe come together to honor and affirm the vision of
peace. On this, the International Day of Peace all faiths, races, and
cultures raise the call for peace: peace among nations and among
neighbors; peace in our homes and in our hearts.

The Shalom Center for Justice and Peace invites you to Voices of
Faith: An Interfaith Celebration of the International Day of Peace.
Together, we and our brothers and sisters of different faith
traditions will share our commitment to a peaceful world through word,
prayer, and music.

Voices of Faith for Peace will be held on Monday, September 21, at 7
p.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 215 North Capitol Avenue,
Lansing (at the corner of Capitol and Ottawa). Parking is available on
the street, in the church lots, and in the parking structure behind
the church on Seymour Street.

Join us. Add your voice for peace to this day.
