Reminder & Helpful Update, from Donna :-)
This Saturday is the pre-Halloween event, where we're showing the classic Sci-Fi movie!
The update is that the A-Trains won't be running as far as Inwood this weekend - however, the 1-Trains have been running smoothly.  So if you're planning on taking the subway, take the 1-Train to the Dyckman Street subway stop.  Once you're out of the subway, cross the street to the corner of Nagle & Dyckman.  From that corner, walk west on Dyckman.  You'll know you're going in the correct direction, because after Nagle, you'll cross these streets in order:  Post, Sherman, then Vermilyea - then the next cross street is Broadway!  Take a right on Broadway and the library is right on that block.  If you clicked on the library movie link below, you'll know this movie favorite is worth the trip!! :-)

Can you name the Sci-Fi movie that's based on Shakespeare's "The Tempest?"  It stars Walter Pidgeon, Leslie Nielsen and Anne Francis!  We thought it would be fun to see an inspired adaptation for Halloween weekend this year!  Have you guessed the movie's name?  Click on the library link to see what film will be presented :
