I found this link to distance courses, apparently
for high school students, that cover some of
the kinds of subjects that Shakespeare himself
likely studied in his early schooling, e.g.
logic, rhetoric, the classics, Latin. These are
all at a beginning level:

Interesting because I don't think
most of us study many of those sorts
of subjects anymore at school, and I
know I certainly don't have much
familiarity with them. I have seen
beginning books about rhetoric (probably
at an even more basic level than the
ones they suggest) in a university
library, however.

There is even a little bit mentioned on
Shakespeare authorship with regard to
Oxford, but that doesn't seem to be the
emphasis of the Shakespeare course.
(This school is not part of Oxford U.
either, I don't think.)

Actually, I could be slightly mistaken
here about what Shakespeare actually
learned--the trivium topics were probably
emphasized more at university rather
than at a grammar school for boys--
not sure about the details of that, but
one certainly learned Latin and some
of the classics in grammar school.
