The Rough Guide to Shakespeare

I saw a new book at the library yesterday called 'The Rough Guide to
Shakespeare' subtitled 'the Plays, the Poems, the Life, with reviews of
productions, CDs & Movies'.

The one I saw was a paperback, written by someone who specialized in
Shakespeare and Renaissance literature at Cambridge. It looks like a
good way to learn about some of the better editions, movies, (and even
recent literary criticism!) about Shakespeare. It also gives a good
overview of each play and poem, listing sources, interpretations, and
stage history. Lots of photos, doesn't look hard to read.
