Important-USA Hockey Registration
Shaker Youth Hockey Association
All players must have a 2013/2014 USA hockey registration number. USA Hockey online registration is open beginning on Monday,April 1, 2013. Please visit www.usahockey.com and follow the instructions on the website to obtain a USA Hockey number for your player(s). The USA Hockey fee for 2013-2014 is $40 with an additional payment of $5 for Mid Am registration. Shaker Youth Hockey and the City of Shaker Heights requires its players to be registered with USA Hockey in part because USA Hockey provides each player with insurance coverage while participating in our program (please check the USA Hockey website for details of the coverage). For liability purposes SYHA cannot allow players on the ice without a valid USA Hockey number. Players will not be placed on a team roster without a USA Hockey number, and will not be notified of their placement until receipt of their USA hockey number. While individual players who have submitted their USA Hockey numbers will be notified of their team placement, complete rosters will not be posted until every player on the team has provided SYHA with her 2013-2014 USA hockey number.
