Hey All,

We are selling our car.  Please forward to anyone in the market:

2000 Honda Civic -- Clean title -- Automatic Transmission-- 4 Door Sedan $2500

We are upgrading to a larger car to accommodate our family.  We are the second owners of this car.  The registration is paid through June of 2014. I have the pink slip and the proof of smog.

Exterior: "Vogue Silver", 4 door sedan. The paint is shiny due to being garaged for our 8 years of ownership.  The rear left side right above the bumper has a small amount of damage, which has not been fully repaired.

Interior: The car has light grey interior. Power door locks, cold air conditioning, after market CD stereo with iPod input cable and removable face.

Mechanically: Automatic transmission 4 cylinder engine.  The car was smogged and the oil was changed on Jan 3, 2014.  We have owned this car since 2005 (purchased from another family), have performed all recommended maintenance, had regular oil changes, and have repair records dating to our purchase of the vehicle.  The car runs and shifts great.  It has 153,555 miles.

At the last oil change, I asked my mechanic to inspect the car and here is his opinion:

Pros:

Front/Rear Brakes at 80%

Front/Rear Tires at 80% (4 new tires purchased in 2013)

Cons:

Here is the work he recommended at some point in the future, but said the car was totally drivable now:

Battery will need to be replaced in the near future  $140

Lower radiator and both heater core hoses worn $175

Dirty Air Filter $19 (and sorry we would have replaced this, but he only told me after I came to pick up the car).

Rear main seal seepage: He recommended that we do NOT fix this, as the small amount of seepage (we have seen no oil drips or residue on our garage floor) is not worth changing the seal.  He recommended keeping an eye on the oil level.
