The Varvels are moving to DC

Hello dear friends,

I'm writing with bitter-sweet news. 

David and I have decided that the time is right for our family to move on from San Francisco. It's been an amazing 3.5 years, and we've had a wonderful time, met wonderful people and made some very dear friends, but the world is calling. We will be packing up all our stuff, the kids and the pets and moving to Washington DC on October 4. 

David is going to be opening up a new office for his day job at Pivotal Labs. It'll also be good to be there for our start-up, as the SEC will now just be down the street. 

We're having a 2 day open house/good bye party/ Selina's 1st birthday party on the weekend of the 27th an 28 of Sept. We'd love to see you, if you have time to drop by. 

Since most of our friends and family can only make one of the days, and no one can be there either day, we'll be doing cake and ice cream @11am on both Saturday and Sunday. We'll have cheese, crackers and other snacks, plus drinkables going all of both days.

Hi my dear

I am sad to read this that you guys are leaving SF but at the same time happy for you and the family for your new adventure in DC. I've never been to DC but have heard great things.

I'm in LA at the moment and not sure when I'll be back in SF, helping mom out on a move.

We miss sf and all our friends there!
