We've been working with our 3yr old on some of these concepts and it's been good to know that she's armed to protect herself and be unattractive to predators.

Sadly, it's never to early to be thinking about these things. Nor does it matter boys or girls. Parents of both need to be aware of how to detect potential predators in their social circles and how to listen to their child's spider sense.
