Karachi: Imamia Students Organization's March Achieves Objectives Set for the Rally !

SFP News Imamia Students Organization organized a protest march from Karachi Press Club to Chief Minister House for the acceptance of some of most pressing demands of Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan on 9th February 2010. The rally started from Karachi Press Club in the evening around 4pm . Despite a working day a large number of momineen and mominaat participated in the rally along with families and children. Ulema-e-Ezam ,representatives and workers of various organizations and institutions of the Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan like Shia Ulema Council , Payam-e-Wilayat Foundation,Shaheed Foundation Pakistan, Imamia Organization ,Madaris-e-Imamia,Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aza and anjumans were present at the occassion .

The rally remained highly peaceful, disciplined and focused to its objective despite at least three attempts to sabotage the discipline of rally by unscrupulous elements, whom the rally organizers adequately took care of.
It had been pre-decided and announced again and again throughout the course of the rally that the mourners would stage a sit-in in front of the Chief Minister house until all the demands were met and would not disperse before that, come what may.
Agha Sadiq Taqvi ,Agha Abbas Waziri,Agha Munawar Ali Naqvi and Senior Vice President of Imamia Students Organization Brother Abdul Rehman Shah addressed on the occassion ,presenting to the millat the facts of the two recent tragedies in particular and un-covering the ugly face of the imperialist powers and its dirty role in international ,regional and local politics. Agha Mirza yousuf Hussain also graced the occasion.
Throughout the procession the partcipants continued to raise the slogans like Death to America , Israel -Unacceptable, Hussainion ki Zindagi Aqeeda O Jihad Hai , Jo Uswa-e-Rasool SAWW Hai -Hamara wo Asool Hai , Ali ka Tarz-e-Zindagi Munafiqat ki Maut Hai , Hai Hamari Darsgah Karbala Karbala and Labbayka Ya Hussain .
A strong message was conveyed to yazidiat who try to limit the Azadari,as an un-precedented matami protest jaloos moved steadily on a new route ,making it clear that ,the more the attacks , the greater ,the stronger and the bigger the Azadari will become.
The steely resolve of momineen ,mominaat and young children who braved strong winds and fairly cold weather , surprised not only the private media covering the event , but the administration too,was visibly embarrassed over its in-competency to capture the architects and perpetrators of Ashura and Chehlum Blasts,something which was the prime mover of the whole exercise.
Initially the officials tried to resort to deviatory tactics like trying to convince the organizers ,not to march towards CM house etc . But the organizers of the rally ,strengthened by the backing of brave momineen and mominaat did not change the plan and instead the administration finally had to ask a representative team of the rally to negotiate on their demands.
Come Maghrebain timing and perhaps this was for the first time after the famous Shia convention of 80's that momineen offered prayers with taymmum instead of wuddu on order of ulema-e-karam as there was no water available. After the office timings finished , larger number of momineen started to pour in to show solidarity and strengthen the sit-in . But it didnt take long and the administration accepted all the demands presented to them un-conditionally.
Maulana Sadiq taqvi announced to the participants in presence of speaker Sindh Assembly Ms. Shehla Reza that all 17 of remaining momineen of millat-e-jaffaria will be freed by tomorrow. Besides a five member committee comprising three representatives of millat and two of government will oversee the issues of injured momineen of the blasts and will ensure that all the injured get adequate treatment till complete recovery and expenses incurred will be borne by the government. Additionally the perpetrators of the tragedies will be brought to book. Besides doubling of the compensation amount to Shohada families was agreed by the government from 5 lac PKR to 10 lac PKR . The administration also agreed to share with the ulema of millat the progress of investigation reports of security apparatus regarding the recent Ashura blast in Karachi.
On this occassion brother Mubasher announced on behalf of Imamia Students Organization that if the commitment made by the government is not honoured within ten days , ISO will hold country wide protest rallies across pakistan ,in every city and town . The rally ended with the collective recitation of Dua-e-Imam-e-Zamana . After the rally the participants dispersed very peacefully showing once again that Azadaraan are a disciplined and civilised lot and are fully aware of their constitutional rights and duties.
