Islamic Unity Week (12th-17th Rabiul Awwal) 1431h

We Extend Heartiest Greetings to Imam-e-Zamana (a.t.f.s) ,Rahber-e-Moazzam , Marajeen ,Ulema-e-Karam ,Momineen o Mominat and Muslimeen o Muslimaat ,on the auspicious occassion of Eid-e-Milad-un Nabi (S.A.W.W) and Wiladat-e-Ba Saadat-e-Imam Jaffar Sadiq (AS). 12th of Rabiul Awwal is celebrated by brethren Ahlul Sunnah ,throughout the world as the birthdate of Prophet Muhammad PBUH ,the last Prophet of Allah and the greatest leader of the creations of Almighty Allah .According to Shia traditions ,the day falls on 17th of Rabiul Awwal. Imam Khomeini being the visionary , he was ,declared the week from 12th to 17th of Rabiul Awwal as the week of Islamic Unity , hence very intelligently converting an apparent difference into a source of greater harmony , unity and strengthened understanding among muslimeen. Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has commanded the followers of Islam to hold tightly the strong chain of unity.He has appreciated us to strengthen the bond of love and unity among ourselves. We all must encourage all those activities which strengthen the unity among us.Once we become united,we can overcome our enemy easily.

Father's Name: Abdullah Ibn Abdul Muttalib (AS)

Mother's Name: Amina bint-e-Wahab (SA)

Visal: at the age of 63 years on Monday, 28th Safar 11 AH

Buried: in his house adjoining the mosque at Medina

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Name: Imam Jaffar Al-Sadiq (AS)

Title: As-Sadiq  AS

Kunyat: Abu Abdullah AS

Born: Monday 17th of Rabi-ul-Awwal 83 A.H. in Medina

Father's Name: Muhammad Ibn Ali  AS

Mother's Name: Umme-e-Farwah SA

Shahadat: At the age of 65 years, at Medina, on Monday, 15th Rajab 148 AH. Poisoned by Mansur Dawaneeqi the Abbasite.

Buried: Jannat-ul-Baqi
