Welcome!

Shadyside Complete Streets is a neighborhood Bike/Ped advocacy group. We’ve been around since 2018, and are part of a network of similar groups supported by BikePGH. We're involved in a variety of neighborhood projects related to pedestrian and bicycle safety and complete streets.

We’re always happy to have more people actively involved in the group. That being said, if you don’t have the bandwidth for organizing but want to hang around to stay up to date on neighborhood happenings, participate in occasional social events, and/or take simple actions like signing petitions or showing up at public meetings, that’s great too.

Monthly Meetings

We have a regular meeting once a month where we discuss projects and general neighborhood complete streets concerns. For the moment we are meeting on the last Monday of every month at 8-9pm on Google Meet. If you don't receive a calendar invite, please email shadysidecompletestreets@gmail.com to request one.

Google Group

If you're here you made it to the Google Group! The Google Group is used primarily for announcements and meeting invites.

Slack Group

Most of our casual discussions are on Slack. We use it for some organizing projects, gossiping during public meetings, and any other fun/social/interesting things members want to share with each other. If you'd like to join, please email shadysidecompletestreets@gmail.com for an invite.

Social Media

We have a Facebook group, Twitter account, and Instagram account. All are semi or fully public, so they’re more useful to give people a landing page/group entrance rather than as a discussion forum.
