जी हाँ, इसमें अभिनय की ध्वनि है ,वैसे भी कोई शब्द जब किसी अर्थ में प्रचलन में आने लगता है तो उसमें वांछित अर्थ भी समाहित हो जाता है.

फ़िल्मों में जो Featuring शब्द आता है, उसका अनुवाद ?
फ़ीचर एक शब्द है, जो सिर्फ़ फ़िल्मों में नहीं और तमाम जगहों पर आता है हमें इसका अनुवाद चाहिए.जिस अर्थ में लिया जा रहा है उसके प्रयोग का श्रेय अंग्रेज़ी को नहीं.आज की ज़रूरतों और सामयिक प्रभाव हैं. हमारे यहाँ के साहित्य में वार्ता,वृत्त,वृत्तांत,वृत्त-कथा, इतिवृत्त आदि का प्रचलन रहा था -इसी फ़ीचरवाली ज़रूरत पूरा करने के लिए. समय के साथ विधाओँ का रूप विकसित होता है - मूल विधा से आगे बढ़कर स्वतंत्र रूप भी धारण कर लेती हैं कभी-कभी.
वार्ता,वृत्त,वृत्तांत,वृत्त-कथा, इतिवृत्त के साथ यही हुआ. अंग्रेजी का बोलबाला रहा था ,अभिव्यक्तियों पर उसका प्रभाव आना स्वाभाविक था

चूँकि यह शब्द कलाकारों के नाम के आगे लगाया जाता है, उस हिसाब से हम "कलाकार" भी लिख सकते हैं:
Featuring Amitabh Bachchan
कलाकार - अमिताभ बच्चन
यह शब्द विभिन्न प्रसंगों में प्रासंगिक रहेगा, जैसे चित्रकला प्रदर्शनी के लिए भी इसी तरह लिखा जाता है:
Featuring M.F. Hussain
कलाकार - एम एफ़ हुसैन
