وأصنع إحساناً إلى ألوف من محبي وحافظـي وصاياي
خـر 20: 6
But showing mercy to thousands, to those
who love Me and keep My commandments.
(Ex. 20: 6)
من يكرم الله إنما يفعل هذا لخلاصه ولعظم نفعه؛ كيف؟
لأنه يتبع الفضيلة ومن ثم يمجد من الله. لأنه يقول
"اكرم الذين يكرمونني "
القديس يوحنا ذهبي الفم
He who admires and honors God does so to his own
salvation, and highest benefit; and how? Because he
follows after virtue, and is honored by Him. For
"them that honor Me," He says "I will honor."
