The Economy Safety Pool Covers are made out of a two-ply mesh material that resists rot, mildew, sunlight and harsh chemical damage. Many people use this cover year round on their swimming pool, not just as a winter pool cover. Its mesh construction allows for water drainage, while keeping unwanted leaves and large debris from entering the pool, allowing for a quick and easy clean-up in the Spring. Each swimming pool cover comes complete with brass screw-type anchors for concrete decks, stainless steel springs, installation tool and storage bag. Initial installation of anchors will require a rotary hammer drill and a 3/4 inch drill bit. Cover is ASTM rated and has a break strength of 4,000 pounds. 12 year warranty. YOUR POOL MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS TO PROPERLY INSTALL A SAFETY COVER: pool is a perfect rectangle with square corners (not rounded) and NO step sections, there is at least 3 feet of concrete deck around the entire perimeter of the pool, and there are no unremovable objects (slides legs, handrails, ladders, dive stand, etc.) within 18 inches of the pool's edge. NOTE: If you purchase a standard cover to fit a custom pool (one that does not meet the requirements stated above) or purchase a cover that does not accommodate your specific pool size, the warranty for the cover will be void.
