Hi everyone,

A problem has arisen Since Friday apparently - someone has hijacked the dns information for sh-hackspace.org.uk and appears to be attempting to copy by webscraping the existing website (???!!!).

We are contacting relevant bodies but in the meantime do not visit sh-hackspace.org.uk - as we do not currently know what the intent is here.

Certainly do not login to sh-hackspace.org.uk using your logins. We haven't seen any compromise of the host system (the server itself) this attack is external to it.

If anyone has had any involvement with the domain sh-hackspace.org.uk - Can you please contact me ASAP!

Also please note this may be the result of a phish attack - ie someone had credentials to domain and accidentally clicked on a spoofed message appearing to be either from namescheap or enom to login and 'verify' account details.

If anyone has received such a message regarding sh-makerspace.org.uk - contact me asap!!

Just an FYI, the url http://www.sh-hackspace.org.uk/ currently seems get redirected to the wiki.  So if there were plans to put announcements up on the Blog it currently seems to be inaccessible.

Yeah, I wasn't sure of the blog hostname it needs to be directed to, so just bounced it to the wiki for now to get "something". Does anyone know the domain to point it at?
