passed away peacefully at her
home on Dec 29th @ 6 PM in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Dr Maina was a very cheerful
& strong willed person and bravely
fought her medical condition
in the last few years.
The family brought Maina Aunty home
last monday night so her final days were spent at home away from the discomfort
of a hospital stay. Malu Uncle, Hemant, Cathie,
Amy and Vishal were able to spend time with her around
the clock ensuring that she was as comfortable as could be.
While Maina Aunty was quite weak
over her final days, she was surrounded by people
who loved
her and it was clear to us that she felt it.
Before
moving to Hackensack, New Jersey .... she lived for many
many
years in
Darien, Connecticut.
A devotee at Radhasoami Satsang, NJ, Sadhu Vaswani
Center, NJ & Glenrock Gurdwara, NJ
she would
be there with Malu Uncle whenever her condition permitted.
May the
Lord shower HIS choicest blessings on our Maina
Aunty
and bring
peace to the family.

MESSAGES from the FAMILY
Dear family and loved ones
At
6:00 pm local time, Mom passed away peacefully at home.
We
brought mom home last monday night so her final days were spent at home away
from the discomfort of a hospital stay. Hemant, Cathie, Amy, Pop and I
were able to spend time with Mom around the clock ensuring that she was as
comfortable as could be.
While Mom was quite weak over her final
days, she was surrounded by people who loved her and it was clear to us that she
felt it.
We are very sad about now only having
memories of Mom left - but there are many great ones.
Thank you all for your outpouring of love,
support and help over the last months.
We will miss her terribly.
Mom will be cremated early this
week, most likely on Tuesday December 31 around midday in northern New Jersey.
We will share exact details as soon as we have them tomorrow.

Dear Family and Friends,
We
would like to invite everyone to a pooja tomorrow (Tuesday, December 31) for
Mom's cremation. It will be at the Evergreen Crematory at 11 am. The facility is
located at 1137 North Broad Street, Hillside, NJ 07205. It is located
approximately 20 minutes south of Hackensack. We will gather at the office in
front of the cemetery,and proceed together to the hall in the back for the
ceremony, which will be about an hour and a half.
