GEF Small Grants Programme OP8

1-Call for project proposals: This call for proposals is opened to all national civil society organizations.

The GEF Small Grants Program is launching a call for project proposals for national civil society organizations, indigenous communities, groups of people living with disabilities, vulnerable groups, women's associations, faith communities, educational and academic communities, targeting the Cameroonian coastline, with priority areas including the edge of Campo Maan National Park, the Manyange Na Elombo-Campo Marine Park, Ebodje, the Kribi Rural-Urban continuum, and Bipindi. During its 8^th OP8 (2024-2028), projects submitted to the GEF SGP UNDP must address the strategic initiatives targeted for this cooperation cycle, as cf. the approve Country Program Strategy Results Framework.  The deadline for project proposals is November 1^st, 2025.

Please Note:  Only organizations whose proposals have been pre-selected will be contacted.

v  Providing proof of recognition by the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT) is an asset.

v  Having a permanent office in the GEF SGP OP8 landscape is an asset.

2-Appel à propositions de projets : Cet appel à propositions est ouvert aux OSC nationales.

Le GEF Small Grants Programme lance à l’attention des Organisations de la Société Civile nationale, les communautés autochtones, les groupes de personnes vivant avec le handicap, groupe vulnérables, associations de femmes, communautés de foi, éducatives et universitaires, un appel à proposition de projets pour lequel le paysage ciblé est la cote du Cameroun avec des zones prioritaires incluant l’orée du Parc National de Campo Maan, Parc, le Parc Marin Manyange Na Elombo-Campo, Ebodje, le continuum Rural-Urbain de Kribi et Bipindi. Durant OP8 (2024-2028), les projets à soumettre au PMF/PNUD/FEM doivent porter sur les initiatives stratégiques ciblés pour ce cycle de coopération cf Cadre de résultats de la Stratégie National du Programme approuvé. Le délai de recevabilité des propositions de projets est fixé au 1^er novembre 2025.

Notez Bien : Seules les organisations dont les propositions ont été présélectionnées seront contactées

v  Produire une preuve de reconnaissance par le Ministère de l’Administration Territorial (MINAT) est un atout.

v  Avoir un bureau permanant dans le paysage du GEF SGP OP8 est un atout.
