Create Your Own Terrarium!

A Miniature Garden-A Little Ecosystem-A Forest in a Jar… Whatever you call it, it’s fun and rewarding to create and enjoy!

Join us for this interactive workshop on creating your own terrarium. Terrariums are low-maintenance, space-saving, and simply beautiful. You’ll learn about the different types of terrariums and the care that they require (which isn’t much) and have the choice to make an open terrarium, closed terrarium or air plant vessel. We will provide ALL the materials, plants, and multiple container options. If you have a container, special rocks, seashells, or other accoutrements that you would like to bring we invite you to do so.

Rita Yordy, your instructor, has been creating examples to inspire participants. We’ve had fun thrifting for the perfect containers! A diversity of plants, substrates, and other trimmings will be provided for your creative use.

Fee: $25/member; $30/non-member, ages 18+
