Yes I do.  Thus far I think this is the best route to take though: http://developer.amd.com/zones/java/aparapi/Pages/default.aspx

If you don't have OpenCL support it will run in the JVM directly, if you do, it's completely Java API calls.  Something in Scala wrapped around this would be an awesome endeavor but outside the scope of Sgine.  However, if such a thing were written it might be something useful for Sgine to leverage.

Yeah, I've looked at that before, but Aparapi will work with or without OpenCL support.
