  shine the light of the humanism of
  Soka on our turbulent society.

--TO MY FRIENDS--
To our champions of great Kyushu
   whom I trust deeply--
   climb a new mountain of
   glory and triumph!
May the "land of fire" of Japanese legend,
  "frontrunners of kosen-rufu in Japan,"
  give a champion's triumphant cheer!
