A consortium of brief demonstrations for various tools and resources some of your fellow coders find useful for software development (listed below in no particular order):

ReSharper - become a Visual Studio Jedi; generate code, navigate, automatically fix errors, reformat code, and more without ever leaving the keyboard

Beyond Compare - difference and merging for all types of data

Safari Books Online and Pluralsight - online training done right; learn when and how to use them

SQL Pretty Printer - format SQL properly/readably within SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, or your own application

LinqPad - write (and convert!) LINQ over any data source, connect to databases and write SQL, write .NET code concepts instead of throwing away console apps, and more

Speaker bios:

Adam Neal is a Software Engineer at Jack Henry & Associates in Springfield who primarily writes C# and VB but enjoys toying with lots of other 

languages and frameworks, as well as feeding freeze-dried lynx to his paternal twin pet pythons, Vim and Zealot.

Chad Boschert is the founder and CEO at Hungry417.com, a search engine for Springfield restaurant specials, and with over 13 years of development experience is the newest Senior Software Engineer at Old Town IT.  He enjoys techno music with a passion, but is responsive to guzzling sippy cups of scotch in the conservatory while admiring his collection of exotic taxidermy.

As Old Town IT's Software Architect, David Schlum designs and directs the firm's software development engagements and contributes to delivering client projects through the development of custom applications and modules.  His groundbreaking work in canine table manners, emphasizing in cutlery handling and soup ladling, has earned him admiration from some.

Tim Franklin, formerly of Jack Henry & Associates and the planet Parkkuyn 7, is a Senior Software Engineer at Old Town IT specializing in user experience design and development.  His steadfast commitment to the ambassadorship of Surprise and Delight knows no equal, nor does his love of Norwegian poetry and Sweet Stripe mints.
