Hello,
As many of you already know (I announced it at the last meeting) I am graduating from OTC this semester, with a 4.0 GPA, and am now on the search for a job.  Attached is my resume and I encourage you to look it over.  If your company is interested or you know of a company which might be interested then let me know.  The best way to contact me is at the 417-413-8265 number or email joshr...@gmail.com.  Feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or requests for sample work you may have.

Thanks for reading,
Josh Brown

Are you interested in relocating? My company is always hiring exceptional asp.net devs.

We don't offer relocation generally. We're in boulder, Co

Disclaimer: I'm not a hiring manager in any way

I am not against relocating if the right opportunity arises.  What company do you work at?

Josh,

My big advice to you is to put your database experience on your resume and more details (bullets are fine) about the Northstar Battery work.  When I hire, that's what I'm looking for - command of how to manage information, be it in code or in data storage.  It's also the thing new grads are usually weak in, so if you have good db experience and can differentiate yourself, please include that on your resume.  (At the very least, you need as many keywords to get past the recruiters).

Thank you for the advice Heather,

I’ll definitely take that into account for future use.  After working at NorthStar it is kind of surprising to me that knowing at least basic SQL or how to connect to a database by the time you’re out of college isn’t a given. If I find some time then perhaps I’ll post a bit more in depth about my experiences.
