Please read the following if you intend to fly at Ephrata during August and September.

 

Runway 3/21 is scheduled for renovation work to commence at 7:00am (0700) on Monday, August 18^th.  Below are the dates/times that the runway will be closed.

 

Monday, August 18^th                         7:00am (0700) to 5:00pm (1700)

Tuesday, August 19^th                        7:00am (0700) to 5:00pm (1700)

Wednesday, August 20^th                 7:00am (0700) to 5:00pm (1700)

Thursday, August 21^st                       7:00am (0700) to 5:00pm (1700)

Friday, August 22^nd                            7:00am (0700) to 5:00pm (1700)

Saturday, August 23^rd                       OPEN – No Construction

Sunday, August 24^th                          OPEN – No Construction

Monday, August 25^th                         7:00am (0700) to 5:00pm (1700)

Tuesday, August 26^th                        CLOSED ALL DAY (24 HRS)

Wednesday, August 27^th                 CLOSED ALL DAY (24 HRS)

Thursday, August 28^th                       CLOSED ALL DAY (24 HRS)

Saturday, August 30^th                       Runway OPEN full time

 

Effective October 10^th for 2-3 weeks (weather depending), the second Phase of the rehabilitation work will commence.  No work schedule has been released yet.

 

NOTE:  Effective September 2^nd until October 3^rd, Pangborn Memorial Airport (EAT) will temporarily close its runway for a major rehabilitation project.  As such, the Port has been approached by several companies affected that operate aircraft out of EAT regarding their intent to use EPH as a temporary base airport.  As such, traffic is anticipated to increase during this period beyond normal operations.
