As some of you are aware, we had a significant weather event at Ephrata last night that resulted in a couple trailers being damaged.  It is important that glider trailers be secured at Ephrata.  That means chocking the wheels and the tongue wheel.  Chocks should be substantial and pushed into place so they don't fly away in a strong wind.  If your trailer has jack stands, they should be extended to secure the corners of your trailer.  Setting your trailer brakes is not enough, the wheels need to be chocked since some trailer brakes will allow the wheels to roll backwards even when set.
