I am researching Harrisons from Northumberland. Do any of your family
come from Northumberland?

Not so far - I am back to about 1800 and in the whole of the 19th Century my
direct line had moved about 3 miles. In the early years of the 20th Century
they crossed the river from Southwark and moved to Tottenham. Most of the
survivors moved out into Essex.

Without wishing to offend people with the 'c' word; can I say it is the
third least unCommon surname in my family tree.
