Happy New Year from your SGA Executive & a Reminder......

Firstly, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year from your 2016 SGA Executive. I hope that everyone was able to spend time with friends and family over the holidays and that you are all well and looking forward to 2016. Now that we are into January and the Boat Show starts Friday, can spring be not far behind? My plan is to provide regular communication to the Sail Georgina membership on at least a monthly basis, so you are all aware of what is going on affecting us all.

With that in mind, I need to remind everyone that we are required to submit our slip membership to the Town in the next few weeks. As such, our Slip Allocation Committee must get to work figuring out how to get as many members into our few precious slips as possible. A couple of weeks ago, a note was sent out to all members to get registered for the coming year (see below), so that we can start this planning process. To date, there have only been around 6 responses. We urgently need all your registrations, but especially if you are needing a slip in 2016. All members are required to renew, even those that will be looking for a Town slip. This process helps both SGA and the Town plan for the coming season.

Please help SGA, the Town and more importantly yourselves by submitting your membership renewal right away! If there is a reason why you cannot register, let us know so we can assist if possible.

The first step in getting organized for next season is to find out who's coming back so we can work out slip assignments.  Since our website is experiencing difficulties, please use the attached form to renew your membership.  No money is requested at this time.  Please return the form asap so we can get the slip assignments underway.

Instructions:

1.  Open the attached file and fill it out

2.  Save the form to your computer

3. Send it as an attachment to regist...@sailgeorgina.ca

4.  If you are a slip holder, or plan/hope to be, fill out the insurance portion or, if your insurance is current, also attach a copy as proof of insurance to the same e-mail.

If you have any difficulties with the form and need to make other arrangements, let us know at the same e-mail address in step 3.
