FYI, our resident live-aboard has advised that he was experiencing 3-6 foot swells IN THE HARBOUR this evening. The break wall was completely overpowered. The main dock was actually about a foot HIGHER than the ground at the gate, a complete reversal to the norm! A quick check around the harbour seemed to show lines were holding well.
He has since abandoned ship, as there was to be no sleeping tonight if still aboard. Any that are able, would be wise to check their lines when they can.
