SingTel Motorola pager Y2K problem!

There is a Y2K fault in the Motorola Scriptor Jazz Plus Pager. 1st January
2001 is shown to be a Sunday. They claim it's a
software problem (they didn't account for a leap year last year!). After all
that fuss about the Y2K bug 1999/2000 - you think they had more than enough
time to sort out this problem!
For those of you affected, you can call up SingTel Equipment @ 4818181 or
Motorola Service Centre @ 4867238
