Please update your POSB a/c

Upon updating, you'll see a withdrawal dated on 30-06-2000
no matter how many thousands you have in your bank a/c.

Withdrawal amount : $2.00
Transaction code: ATF

Do not panick!

You may demand an explanation or lodge a complain
Tel: 339 6666

If they do not give a reasonable a/c for the withdrawal,
lodge a police report on CBT(criminal breach of trust).

Note: it's a chargable offence for illegal withdrawal
or illegal transaction of one's personal a/c.

That deduction was for service charge for your POSBank current account.  Fixed at S$2.00 per month regardless of balance.

The whole issue of the service charge and minimum balance was the hotest issue since May-Jun 2000.

Well, we all have the choice of terminating our POSB current a/c
and patronising another bank. At least, most banks do not charge
for issuing cheque books.
