These are the results of the CFV for the creation of the unmoderated
sg.rec.cycling newsgroup, vote number SG-NEWS-006.
The 10-day voting period ended on 30 Dec 2000.
The vote tally is as follows:
Valid votes: 11
FOR: 11
AGAINST: 0
A vote is deemed successful and a proposal passed only if there are not
less
than twenty-five (25) votes, with not less than 70% FOR the proposal. As
only eleven (11) votes have been received, this vote is hereby declared
to
be a failure, and the proposal to have been rejected.
The above is in accordance with the requirements for success as stated
in the
SUVV Recommended CFV Procedures

Guidelines For SG.* Newsgroup Creation
(http://www.sintercom.org/sur/general/guidelines.html).
Any allegation of improper voting must be emailed to the votetaker at
<lima...@pobox.org.sg> by 11 June 1998. The allegations will be
investigated, and his/her decision will be final. The results will be
regarded as final and binding after 11 June 1998, unless the votetaker
issues an announcement indicating otherwise.
