You better think ten times before you sign up with SCV cable vision.
not to mention watching the live video program, even to download from
personal home page from local site also take f**king long time to download -
more than 10 min, where by 28.8 modem only take 1 minute plus to download.

A Ping to SCV web site reveal that there are more than 95% of dataloss --
TimeOut errors.

Cable modem tech may not be the proper channel for too many users. It is LAN
based tech will devide the bandwidht among all the con-current users.....

Hello
Do not need to worry. SVC is not interested to get new
subscriber. I apply for one account 1.5 years back and I
still on the waiting list. Excellent service.

Why they want to join the free-PC game when they can have their sweet
monopoly of cable Tv. Even the business of renting the set-top is more
profitable than maybe cyberway. Providing the cable modem is just to please
the TAS and NCB. And TAS and NCB if you are listening, do something. The
high-bandwidth at the present moment just doesn't move. Is too
expensive...and we are loosing a golden opportunity after pumping so much
into it. We cannot build the mass and we have lost a golden opportunity to
come out something to sell to the world before they are ready. Watch how
fast the high-bandwidth is catching up in US. Look like the big $$$$$ money
is going down the drain. Just like the I-one.
