Hello to everybody
I’ve found a interesting conference about Human-Computer interaction
and it will be in my home country, Sardinia (Italy)!
The conference is the CHItaly 2011, a biannual conference organized by
the Italian chapter of ACM SIGCHI, and this year will be held in
Alghero in collaboration with the Department of Architecture, Design
and Planning of the University of Sassari.
The theme is Facing Complexity and will be explored as human-computer
interaction in a interdisciplinary way, and allow the contribute of
computer scientists, engineers, architects, designers, …

In the website you can find some information about..
I am not related to the conference or the host university, I’ve found
this news in the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID)
website, but I found the conference and the theme more interesting and
in some ways related and maybe more close to our cluster research in
Smartgeometry.
The conference will be on 14-15-16 September 2011, but there are a
paper call and workshop call with a deadline for the proposal
submission on 1st May 2011.
Seems pretty interesting that before the 3 days of conference will be
a two days tutorial/workshop session and they also consider proposal
for showcases and workshops. These kind of proposal must be submitted
on 1st may.
In the website you can find the guidelines and schedule.

I am not very experienced in this stuff, but I am really interested to
learn more! After the amazing works showed in Smartgeometry, could be
a good idea to replicate the same experience in Alghero!
If someone is interested..we can do some brainstorming about :-D
..and finally..let me to say that could be a great opportunity to
enjoy and take a drink in front of the sea in Alghero :-D
